Derek Atlantisoft February 23rd, 2000, 06:23 AM same here, you guys have been a real life-saver gknierim February 23rd, 2000, 01:06 PM Yes, I would like to extend my appreciation for such timely and accurate responses!! You guys are awesome!! A true lifesaver!! gknierim February 23rd, 2000, 01:09 PM Can't forget John either!! Chris Eastwood February 23rd, 2000, 05:48 PM Well, I'd like to say thanks to everyone on this board for making it one of the most interesting VB forums on the net - we've had more and more people visiting this forum every day and there's been a lot of excellent quality answers on this board. Keep up the good work everyone Chris Eastwood CodeGuru - the website for developers http://codeguru.developer.com/vb Derek February 24th, 2000, 01:22 AM Hi, If there are any tips you guys can give me in Visual Basic i would appreciate it alot . I am a beginner and need all the help i can get. Thanks again. Derek Kyle Burns February 24th, 2000, 06:44 AM I'd like to second that. I've been following this board for about three weeks now and am very pleased with the quality of the posts. Too many of the mailing lists and discussion forums are prone to becoming a place for people to flame each other. I feel very strongly that the only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked. On many lists, people get railed because they ask "what exactly is an integer?" when we all at one point or another didn't know what an integer was. I like the fact that I can feel free to ask whatever question I need the answer to here without fear of having 18,000 people reply with "go look it up". If I knew where to look it up, I wouldn't be asking here :-) Atlantisoft February 24th, 2000, 07:16 AM Ya, I know what you mean. I've made this forum part of my morning routine. Wake up, eat breakfast, check my email, check the forums and learn some new tricks. I love this place, it, put quite frankly, RULES! I have not found a better forum on the net and, as Kyle said, no one makes fun of you for what you ask. Nick A. February 24th, 2000, 07:40 AM I agree with you. This certainly is the place to ask a question and expect to receive at least one (good) answer. Well, for most of the questions, that is true. It helps that the forum has a moderator though. Without Chris, this forum wouldn't be so good. Thanks everyone for adding to the quality of this forum. February 24th, 2000, 10:05 AM Hi, Hi everyone this is me Derek and i was thinking why don't we keep this message going and if there is anyone we want to thank then lets do it out here. There are already 8 messages here and all so true. This place is the best and so are you guys who help me out everyday. THANK YOU. Let's keep this message going, Derek AndyK February 24th, 2000, 10:23 AM Yeah thanks to EVERYONE including Chris, Lothar, and Aaron (don't forget Aaron, he was great help to this forum too as well as many others, you know who you are.) Without Chris not that this forum would be so good, but without Chris this forum wouldn't exist...... Thank You people for making our lives a bit more fun, since as it was said before, ths forum is like a daily routine....lol :-) sriky February 24th, 2000, 10:47 AM Thanks everyone (can't really mention the names as there are so many) for paying attention to all of my petty questions. I learnt a lot through this forum and sure it has been of great help to me. cheers! codeguru.com
