Switching Default Audio Device (in code) without entering the control-panel

Hi,

I need to switch the Default audio device in windows without opening the
control panel and switching it.

is there a windows interface that allows me to do this ?

if not is there some undocumented code that lets me to this ?

registry doesn't work i've tried.
