Announcing the second VB CodeGuru contest. This time you can win the Palm V, the latest Palm Pilot from 3Com. If you live outside the US and you win the contest, you may have make do with a $450 check in lieu of the Palm.
Now a little bit more about the contest. The basic objective of this contest is to promote sharing of code and create a knowledge base for VB programmers. Anyone can enter this contest by sending us an article that covers something useful for VB programmers (usually some cool code). As and when we receive the article, we post it at this site. We may choose to reject an article if we don't think it to be useful. You may send more than one article.
At the end of the contest, our judge (Chris Eastwood) will pick out the article he likes best. The author of the best article wins the contest. If you'd also like to be one of the judges please feel free to write to vb@codeguru.com letting us know why you think you are good candidate.
The contest ends on the 15th of June. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
Please send in your entries to vb@codeguru.com. The articles should be in plain text (with VB code interspersed in it if that makes sense). Please be sure to attach a ZIP file with the source code and project files.
* Contest ends on June 15 1999
