Critical features of VB5

I would like to know some of Critical Features of VB5 helpfull for Banking applications which or not present in other RDBMS.
This helps me in Convincing my Customer to consider VB5 for Application Development

VB 5 ist NOT an RDBMS (=relational database management system)!
It is only capable of using COM components like DAO, RDO or ADO that contain interfaces for accessing RDBMSs like Access (not sure if that's even a database), SQLServer, Oracle...
