Question about XML

I need to get this in an xml file:
<Amt>
<InstdAmt Ccy="EUR">298.67</InstdAmt>
</Amt>

IHow do i do that.
I tried the code below, but get a syntax error on >> oElemBerichtAmt.setAttributes "Ccy", "EUR" <<
