Image problems in HTML, FF specificly
Attachment 30959Attachment 30961I'm having an issue with images not displaying in Firefox, but showing up in IE8. I'm not getting the Red X or broken path image, I'm just not getting anything. When I 'View Source' in FF, I can click on the picture link and it opens fine.
I've tried saving the pictures as .jpg that didn't seem to help any.
Code:
<tr>
<td>
<a href="full_images/muscatine_advert.pdf"><img src="thumbnails/muscatine_advert.png" border="0"/></a>
<a href="full_images/indiana_advert.pdf"><img src="thumbnails/indiana_advert.png" border="0" /></a>
<a href="full_images/indiana_advert_2.pdf"><img src="thumbnails/indiana_advert_2.png" border="0" /></a>
</td>
<td width="326" height=2><span class=title>Business Journal Ads</span></td>
</tr>
I've attached 2 screenshots. The page in question is behind some login stuff, so that's the best I can do. Any thoughts on this? It's really got me stumped.
BTW, this is a legacy site that is going away soon-ish, so it's not worth re-writing to get rid of the tables :)
Re: Image problems in HTML, FF specificly
Are you sure there's no cross-browser CSS causing hidden elements?
Re: Image problems in HTML, FF specificly
I'm not looking at it right this minute, but I remember only three elements in the css file. A header and 2 other things. All having to do with font size. I'll double check at work tomorrow, but the CSS is pretty sparse.
Re: Image problems in HTML, FF specificly
Just confirming that CSS isn't hiding anything. 3 things in the CSS, all dealing with font size.
Re: Image problems in HTML, FF specificly
As the code you posted itself stands, there is no error. The only way we could help better is to have you save an archive of the webpage and upload it here.
