MindSource is looking for a Performance Engineer responsible for performance analysis, server system analysis, bottleneck detection, metrics, tools development, database, and network knowledge. Our client is a mobile start-up.

Technical Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a large-scale, high-traffic web serving or wireless applications in RHEL 5 or CentOS 5x environment
Deep working knowledge with CentOS 5.x and /or RHEL 5
Deep working knowledge in performance analysis and tuning of C++, Java, Tomcat and Apache applications
Deep working knowledge in capacity analysis and tuning of C++, Java, Tomcat and Apache applications
Deep working knowledge in performance and capacity analysis and tuning for Oracle RAC
Deep working knowledge in performance and capacity analysis and tuning for Oracle remote replication environment
Deep working knowledge in performance and capacity analysis and tuning for large scale storage systems
Good working knowledge with VMWare ESX 3.0
Good working knowledge in server and storage design, operational support
Working knowledge of load balancers such as Cisco ACE and CSS
Some code development background in C++ and Java
Develop scripting in Bash, Perl, and PHP.
Excellent documentation writing skills
Excellent communications skill. and interpersonal team work skills
BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience
