Users can set their status to invisible in their preferences. That way they don't show up in the online member handle list but are accounted for in the online member count. Another effect that setting has is that the green "LED" next to the user name in the header of their posts doesn't light up when they're online.
And the page display is funky... I don't think you guys can see the "Guests" like I can:
There are currently 1781 users online. 10 members and 1771 guests
When I looked, there were 8 users on page 1, 1 user on page 2, 9 on page three...
The "LOCATION" column also appears to play a part. Some show threads with long headingssssssssssss which takes up more space and thus less people per page.
WEll, I just looked at the list:But I could see only 10 (ten) people being online!Quote:
82 members and 1680 guests
Recently, whenever I have looked at the 'Who's Online' page I get the same effect. But the split is always at the same user.
I.e. the first page is everyone upto (and including) lfuser.
The second page is lfuser.
The third page is lfuser and everyone after them.
Poor ol Ifuser appears lost.. He/she is "awaiting email confirmation." I'll report this to the folks up stairs.
