Development Support Engineer

12 month contract in Plano, TX

Enhance performance, scalability, and usability of an existing telecommunications monitoring product.

This includes improvements to all application levels from data acquisition from the wire to data aggregation and presentation through the GUI. This role requires someone who is capable of finding solutions to complex problems.

BS or MS in Computer Science

7+ years of Software Development experience in C++ for UNIX.
5+ years of Telecom experience (2G/3G mobile networks).
Knowledge of memory and performance profiling tools for Solaris 10 on SPARC.
Extensive experience in application optimization and debugging.
Familiarity with Motif.
Experience in scripting (Python, Perl, shell).
Experience of working in Agile Development environment.
Fluency with version control tools (CVS, Subversion).
