On other computer (I didn't test it) - not 3d.
I need api function for this effect.
Then have a look at CTL3D32.dll

I don't know. I use MFC, and MFC always did it for me automatically.
Try to search MSDN for examples.
BTW, what is the difference between "your computer" and "other computers - not 3d"? Windows version? Themes? ...?
