Blurred (See through) background for full screen window

Hi,
I got a full screen window with image in the center of it in 80% size of the screen. I want ONLY the rest of the window (i.e. - the parts that are not covered by the image) to be blurred so it will show the desktop, but with blur effect.
Any ideas?
