How Long does post approval take?
Hey,
I created a new thread for a post about 18 hours ago. it has not appeared in the forum topic yet. how long does it usually take for a question to be approved and listed? the questions wasn't anything unusual...some code bits and a question on configuration.
thanks
Re: How Long does post approval take?
Hello itrickski.
You are right. It should not take 18 hours to get your post moderated. Sorry about that.
The thing is, there were probably not a moderator here today, so sometimes it may take a little longer as usual.
Good news is that your post(s) should be shown now in the C# forums.
Thank you for reporting.
Hannes

No problem at all :)
Happy posting
Re: How Long does post approval take?
There is no time limit on how long it would take to approve a post. However, that doesn't mean it should take an entire day. But the number of moderators is not that high and it does happen that sometimes none of them is around or checking the moderation queue. So if that happens again, send a PM to a moderator. Many people actually post second or 3rd time the same question and they all go to the moderation. If the filter stopped it from being published the first time, it will certainly do the same again and again. So, don't post again, rather PM a moderator (or several).
Re: How Long does post approval take?
Sorry for digging out an old thread, but since it is already here I think it is best than creating a new one...
I've also made a new thread on the C++ (Non Visual) forum almost 24 hours ago, and it is still not there.
Can someone give it a look?
By the way, sorry if I'm making any mistakes. These are my first posts here.
