Difference between Debug and Install?
Note: Not 100% sure this is in the right forum. I'm working with C# in a Windows Form, not really .Net.
But, I am working on a project that involves the Web Browser Control in a Windows Form where Javascript is being used inside the html pages. Specifically, alerts and "window.print()". When I test the app with Debugging (both Debug and Release) the alerts and printing works fine. When I package it up into an installer neither alerts nor printing works.
My question is, what are the differences between an app running in Debugging and the same one ran from an installation?
Re: Difference between Debug and Install?
C# is .NET
Are you sure you have added the most current version of your program to the installer ¿
Are you sure you have installed everything properly ¿
Re: Difference between Debug and Install?
If it is deploy project in VS, it is not build by default, event if you build the whole solution, you have to invoket its build manualy.

I honestly only ever thought of .Net as web based.
The installer packages the primary output of the app, Content Files, Source Files and Documentation. I don't know of anything else it would need.

Yes, prior to every installation I build the app.

Now you have already learnt something new then :)
Is it possible to actually provide us with this application, meaning, zip it up, then attach it here. Perhaps there is something more we could identify
Re: Difference between Debug and Install?
Maybe you have some assemblies in you debug directory that are not properly bundled in the installation package?
