Hmm, I should visit this thread more often... Recently (like last winter), we had a ton of snow dump on us here in Colorado. Shut the office down and everything. So, I put together a little collage, so to speak:

In five days we went from mid to upper 60's (deg F) to 3-4 feet of snow...

On a Sunday I left Reno for Beale AFB in Marysville,CA (Had a class and time in the Altitude chamber Monday morning), about a 2.5 hour drive, normally...it took me 11.5 hours...here is why...between the weekend casino guest headed back to Oakland/San Francisco/Sacramento and the snow...it was exciting to say the least. This storm dropped 8ft in north Lake Tahoe, yes the pass was closed most of the next day and it was Tuesday morning before I could drive back over the pass...this is a picture from that drive

And the Drive back across the pass on Tuesday

Wow. I just got done with that nasty Iowa snow. Glad you can enjoy it though! ;)

That's why I tend to travel east from here (Colorado)! :D

Being a Californian, I love snow ............. but anywhere else than near home :)

nice pictures, MrViggy :thumb: That is cool, beware of Florida though. You might just have more melted snow falling from the skies :D

Yep. My father lives right outside of Tampa, so I'm pretty familiar with the nice, humid weather down there! :D

Coincedentilly, I'm also posting some photo's I took on Wednesday morning. Tuesday evening, around 11 PM, it started snowing. This was the Very first time in my life I see snow falling, and actual snow :)

I took these photo's yesterday morning, at about 6 AM. It's not perfect photo's, I had to do some editing..

The first photo, shows our house's front, with the snow on the roofs

The second photo, shows on of our gates.

The third photo, just shows, how some of the trees looked

I found this instruction video on the Internet illustrating how it was supposed to be done. The video lasted for 3 minutes - I spent 1 1/2 hour.
