JQuery Game

Hi everyone. I am doing a project of a game that looks something like the game Diamond Dash. I am not to sure of doing the checking part ie; Check a minimun of 3 similar images & with one click, make the image disappear & random image will drop down. The languages I'm allowed to to use is only jQuery, php & html5. I hope someone will be able to help me out. Thank you :)
