  1. Re: Wrong Routine showing in Dropdown list when doing Find or Replace

I still have no idea what you are talking about

The drop down shows the routine SPQR
    The Code shows SPQR

at the bottom of that sub is a call to errorlogger but it is inside the SPQR sub which...
  2. Re: Wrong Routine showing in Dropdown list when doing Find or Replace

I have no idea what you are trying to say, The only thing I see wrong in that image is your use of On Error Goto. You should be using Try Catch instead

Re: Change Text on MouseOver Event

There is no mouse over event

There is a mouse move event

You change the text in a textbox by assigning it a value

    Text1.Text="Some Value"
  4. Re: To get message box result as a string as one by one

I'm not sure what you are talking about "numeric string"

If you want to work with numbers a string is not what you would use

Re: Help! havign issues with arrays.

And I'm not sure what part you do not understand. Its very simple all positive integer values that are > 9 will be two digits those that are =<9 will be 1 digit. Simple right?

    As for the other...
  6. Re: To get message box result as a string as one by one

I don't do Word VBA so off the top of my head I have no idea how to highlight a paragraph in Word via VBA code

As for your question it sounds simple enough
In your second piece of code compare...
  7. Re: To get message box result as a string as one by one

I'm not sure I understand your question nor what you expect the output to be

What output are you getting now?

I am assuming that this is not VB code. Word VBA?

Re: Help! havign issues with arrays.

Well you would use a loop as you have done with the other items above

If you are dealing with only positive integers then any value >9 will be 2 digits
Alternately you could convert the value to...

Re: help in controlling The Net Traffic

I don't think you would be able to control the speed of the internet on your computer. You could possibly manipulate the speed of your software related transfers but would likely not be able to...

    Re: help please..vb 6.0

You do not actually save anything to the forms.
A form is just a display not a container for saving data.

If you want to save data you need to use a file to save it to and then you need to load...

Re: Help on Compound Interest Program?

No, don't remove the balance var entirely just the second instance of it on that line.
You want the loop to go until Balance is double the starting amount to do this you must use both balance and...

Re: Random access file variable length

You are using a Type so you can simply get the length of the type

Open Filename for Random as #1 len=Len(g)

a date data type is 8 bytes if I'm not mistaken

    Re: Dim my variables

Yes though you should use descriptive names for your variables

    Option Explicit
    Dim Qty As Integer
    Dim Cost as Currency
    Dim PartNumber as String

You can also place more than one on a line...
  18. Re: can't seem to get program to stop when i need it to

Loop looks ok to me, or sort of anyway. The while part probably should be on the Do rather than the loop so that it does not execute it a>f on the first pass
It assigns a starting value to f and to...
  19. Re: Integers. Should I dim my variables as integers?

Actually Long is a bit faster I think and can hold larger values than an Integer can up to 2 billion as opposed to 32k for an Int. Long does use more memory but is processed faster on 32 bit systems...

    Re: Dim my variables

You should always Dim all variables.
You should also have the little box checked under the editor properties to require variable declaration also known as Option Explicit.

    Not dimming your vars...
  21. Re: A new vb6 project importer is on it's way, but we need your support!

So the learning curve has nothing to do with actually understanding how to write code using the tool? I downloaded it and checked it out a bit. It looks like it has potential but will take a while...

I'm not sure why that Excel related code is posted? Are you trying to save an Excel worksheet? I did not see anything in the OP about that.

The error message you are getting most likely means that...
  24. Re: A new vb6 project importer is on it's way, but we need your support!

I was just looking at the link, They claim a learning curve of 8-12 hours for a Novice programmer and 2-4 hours for experienced. Surely they can't be serious. Unless it is almost exactly the same as...
  25. Re: A new vb6 project importer is on it's way, but we need your support!

Since this is not a VB question I am moving it to the proper location.
