I think when you switched to classic style, the toolbar will use 16x16 old bitmap color (16 bits).
When you switched to the high resolution, it will use 256 color style.

Back in the begining of Windows SDK, we use system hook to get the mouse movement. I'm quite sure how MFC can do that.

Is there any way to launch IE without toolbar? I know that it is available for Java Script, but my windows application need to launch IE without toolbar to prevent user do something else.

Damm, that's the problem... as soon as the dll is in the search path, the problem is gone away. Thanks for all the help. I lost so many hair (from scratching, pulling, ...) and some more gray hair...

I did add the reference to the project and it find the classes inside that DLL without any problem during compile and link processes. When I try to run the web page, it couldn't find the assembly...

You could expand the treenode by add some code at Page_Load
mainNode.Expanded = True
where main node is the root of the tree or which node you want it to expand

How can I validate the object before accessing it? The IsNull is not available under asp .net version.
