Re: Weird "bug" with CStatic controls

I agree it looks like "stupid".
I wonder, however, why you are using static control with double-clicking on it. Why not use a button? A read-only edit control?

Re: Weird "bug" with CStatic controls

This problem is described here. it is delphi, however the problem is the same.
3. Re: What is the correct way of calling a self-contained posix thread in VC++?

pThread does not make any sense in this context. Just because you pass NULL as the *arglist parameter!

Re: Convert code C# 2008 to code C# 2005 ?

What errors (exactly!) do you get?
5. Re: How to get info from a ListBox and write to file

Try
for (int line = 0; line < outputListBox.Items.Count; line++)
{
outputFile.WriteLine(outputListBox.Items[line].ToString());
}
6. Re: HttpRequest generating weird strings ' and "...

<&#39> means apostrophe. See http://arvinditsolution.blogspot.ch/2011/06/what-does-mean.html
<"> means the quotation mark. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24602154/explain-what-quot-means

Re: Problems in Pascal WinAPI.

Search MSDN for CreateWindow and DialogBox functions.
Read their discriptions
Compare the parameter types they needed with the ones you are passing in.

Re: Program Language ?

What you showed looks like an .ini file that may be used by any program written in any language.

Re: Customize control scrollbar

But "looks ugly" and what you wrote earlier:

Re: Problems in Pascal WinAPI.

Look at MSDN
The second argument is of type LPCTSTR.
If instead you want to pass in a UINT then you should use MAKEINTRESOURCE macro.

What errors (exactly!) do produce two other bolded lines?

Re: Problems in Pascal WinAPI.

What could this BOOL InitApplication(hInstance)
HANDLE hInstance;
mean? :confused:
You, probably, wanted to write something like
BOOL InitApplication(HANDLE hInstance)
{
...
}

Re: Trouble with C And Windows Runtime

Good question! :thumb:
There are some very important thigs available in C++ (OOP for example) that are not available in C.
But vice versa? :confused:

Super!
You did not answer this question yet:So you are expecting that we will be now searching for the differences between the original code and your own implementation?
18. Re: Getting exceptions on Windows 7 and Windows 8 on different parts of the Code

Well, in a very simple case and with only one bug it may be the same place.
But if your bug consists of some memory corruptions then it may occur in different parts of your program even on the same...
19. Re: Getting exceptions on Windows 7 and Windows 8 on different parts of the Code

Very simple! Your code has a bug. Or some (more than one) bugs.
So you have to debug your code to find out these bugs!
20. Re: adding rational number using only class functions

Why did you declare your Rational addUp(...) as friend rather than static?
Besides, better would be pass the Rational arguments by const reference than by value:

Now the third time the question #2:

And the next (forth) question:

2. What does RegisterWindowMessageA return?
