  1. Re: Memory leak suspicion at resizing of dynamic array

It will delete what was allocated by dummyPointer. In this case - 7 elements
  2. Re: Memory leak suspicion at resizing of dynamic array

What is sample? Where and how is it declared/defined?

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

I don't care what you "think". How did you create this project/solution?
What options do you see in the project Linker properties?

    Re: Multipad / superpad sample

I don't have this sample on my PC. so can only guess. From MSDN:

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

It seems to be some problem with the main() or similar entry point.
You mentioned that this is a dll project. Could you provide more info like whether it is MFC or Win32 or some other type of dll?...

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

I already wrote you (the last time - in the post#50) that we expect from you the error/warning messages together with the lines of code that produce the error/warning..
    You still ignore it... :(
    In...

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

    OK.
So have you fixed the latest discussed error with function redefinition?
    If no - fix it.
If yes - what is your next error? (please, post the error message and the line where the error...

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

Again: WORKING example does NOT mean a "bugs-free" example.
The C++ compilers in VS2013/VS2015 are much more strong than in old/outdated ones (like V++6.0)

So to play with this code you must...

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

You seem to declare the Vector::NormalizeInPlace(void)' twice: once as float, and once as void.
So see the lines 39 and 250 in vector.h file

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

Well, you were lucky that it "was working fine". But sometimes (earlier or later) it would fail...
The "Old/outdated" compiler had some bugs. The new one fixed some of them to make your code...

Re: Need help on errors (compilation issues)

    Your point is wrong.
I guess, the most of the compiler warnings/errors are the same (or very similar) for all your "25 different .cpp/.h".
So, please, choose at least one module producing the...

Re: Help! free() invalid pointer error

None here cares how "message" is passed...
The only question (I already asked in the post#3) is where and how "*message" is defined and allocated (with what buffer length).
  19. Re: Using malloc and free instead of new and delete in C++

I guess that destroy should destroy all the T objects in the vector right before deallocate its (vector) memory.

Re: How to break for loop

I'd recommend you to not reinvent the wheel.
To not block the main thread that is to handle Windows messages you should move your code to read from / write to the port into the one or more worker...

Re: Help! free() invalid pointer error

And how is it related with the documentation about snprintf: http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/cstdio/snprintf/ ?
Didn't you allocate a buffer with enough size?

If LoadLibrary fails then you should call GetLastError to know the reason of the failure.
    Anyway, this could be useful:...
