On MSDN it says /LIBPATH:dir is the switch to add additional lib path.
In the cl.exe --help there is no such a switch.
And when I use /LIBPATH:C: I get D9002 'Ignoring unknown option' error.

Thank you very much for both of you! :)
Happy New Year!

I would like to use this solution as it seems to be the simplest but the problem is that you wont get TVN_SELCHANGED message if you click the same item again since the item is still selected.

Yes, I thought about that solution but the problem is that NM_CLICK detects any click anywhere in the treeview not only on the items.
How to know if the user clicked on the same item and not just...

That's right, that makes sense. Thank you Kaud!
So is there a message for an item clicked whether it changed or not?

I have this code that uses the ISampleGrabber interface.
When I look up the methods of ISampleGrabber I cannot find the CoCreateInstance method?

Great explanation, thanks!
I have crossbar.h and these declarations in it. Should it be in caps?

I'm trying to compile the Directshow example amcap without the MSVC IDE and I think I have a circular dependency problem.
I looked it up on Wikipedia but I dont know what 'A_H' means and what is...

It is a Microsoft sample program called 'amcap' and these are the definitions that MS put in the file:
#if _MSC_VER > 1000
#endif // _MSC_VER > 1000

I found it.
The CGenericList class is defined in wxlist.h which is included in streams.h.
But I have no idea why the compiler does not see it.

Unfortunately I get the same error if I create a project too.
Doesnt matter, at least you assured me that it should work if I include the file so I will search somewhere else for the problem.

I cant post 9 files that would clutter up the place here so I verified if I change streams.h to some non existant file name i get an error "file not found".
So it means that the...
December 17th, 2014, 05:28 AM
I have streams.h included before crossbar.h but I still get this error that means that CGenericList class is not defined.
On this line:

MSDN says for the third parameter:
Well it's not one-based at all. In order to set the first item I need to set it to zero and not to one.
