You would be looking for the express or now community edition. I think they now require you to register it to continue to use it after a given time frame but is still free.
And yes if it uses an...

You can test in the keydown, keypress or keyup events to see if the key pressed was the enter key and then react accordingly.

I can't tell from the little info provide what you are trying to do. Since there is no code shown in any of the loops would be difficult to say how to make it faster.
The code also does not seem to...
Have you tried sending space after the button is highlighted?
If I am not mistaken the spacebar will press a button if it has focus.

Yes it is possible or sort of anyway.
Sounds liek you would need to monitor the processes in a timer and take action when a new process appears in the list.

Have you checked the results in commandresults?
Have you tried letting that first message box sit on screen for several seconds between records to see if it was a timing issue?

No one knows for sure what is around the corner. Even MS can't be sure where they will be in the near future.
All we know is that the core of VB works under every version of Windows that has came...

ZPL = Zebra Programming Language
What you suggest should work, personally I would use something more descriptive than V1 -V7
I have did several programs that do use a text file for the layout...

I don;t know what you are trying there with write line. From what little I saw on that link you shared it seemed to be saying that it used TCP to communicate. It that be the case then you need to...

I scanned a little of the link and yes it looks like you would use TCP. I did not read much of it so I have no details for you.
There are more than one way to work with sending TCP in VB. You...

I would think that you would be using serial communications to send whatever to a device, either or you would be using TCP or UDP.
ADP commands mean nothing to me and likely have no bearing on...
So basically you have no code at all?
Surely whatever you are doing that gave you that assignment has already had you write some code for other things?
The core part of the code you will need...
The post looks like it is straight out of a text book. Surely you understand some of it? Have you did anything with it yet? Where are you stuck or what do you not understand.
If you can't assign a lower port number then you may find this link useful it is a hack but they say it works.
I would not use it in anything other than for personal use though
hmm Com 34. I'm not sure you can do that. I think 16 is the max port number supported.
Can you assign the modem a port number between 1 and 16 ?
What port number is it using?
Is there a valid Port at that number?
I would suggest either a breakpoint, a debug.print or a msgbox to see what the value of SMSport is just before it tries to...
Of course if you are talking about the same code window which it seems you may be then that is not an option.
There is an option under Window to split the window but that does not have a vertical...
On the top menu Tools > Options
Under Environment - General there is an option for Window Layout.
You can set this to multiple documents or tabbed document.
When set to multiple you can have...
Edit: My initial resolution and thoughts turned out to be incorrect so I am removing that from this post.
It turns out that there was no real problem at all. The issue it seems is with the IDE not...
In an Asp.Net web app using VB2008
Let's say in the ASPx file I have
<% MyFunction() %>
In the ASP.Vb file I have
Public MyFunction() as Boolean
It is just a method of initializing a string variable. MyString=string.empty is a better way of saying MyString="" constant vs literal
What you are getting is a warning rather than an error message.
Dim savePath As String=string.empty
Dim fileName As String=string.empty
Also you should use & for putting strings together...
so why not change
UploadStatusLabel.Text to Label5.Text
or change Label5.Text to UploadStatusLabel.Text
Not a simple task. There would be way more to it than showing the desktop. If you want the desktop to actually work then you need all the interaction code that works with it. Basically you would be...
Did you try changing your date format to mm/dd/yyyy ?
