    Many members here, myself included, don't open unknown sites. So in this case I'm not able to provide any feedback. :wave:

    Re: VolleyBall Game Tracker

    There are also some potential issues with the design as the number of sets is hard-coded as 3 and it would be difficult to change this as there is specific code for each set (which of itself is not a...

    Re: Adding element into an n-ary Tree

    Have you actually designed this program before you started to code? For something like this I would strongly advise this. Also it seems to me that this would be suited to be a class - rather than...

    Re: Hepl me with search name code in C++

    Consider using count(). See http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/algorithm/count/

    Also why not use sort() instead of your own sort function? See http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/algorithm/sort/

    Re: Hepl me with search name code in C++

    Why do you continue to iterate through the array when a name match has been found?

    Re: Hepl me with search name code in C++

    if(list[SIZE]==name)

    why SIZE? SIZE is the number of elements in the array - so accessing list[SIZE] is outside the bounds of the array.
  14. Re: Specify how many times elements of array will be compared [Bubble sort]

    There are various papers analysing bubble and other sorts available on the internet. eg

    Re: WinAPI timer vs thread?

    The way this is usually done is that worker threads post user-defined messages to the ui thread (normally the main thread) and the ui thread processes these messages when it can as appropriate -...

  22. Re: Need help with Sequential Search Algorithm project

    guess() returns the number entered - but you are not using this in main()!

    Re: find object in vector and delete

    You could also do this using remove_if(). Eg

    #include <vector>
    #include <string>
    #include <iostream>
    #include <algorithm>
    using namespace std;

    Re: find object in vector and delete

    You use .erase(). delete is used to de-allocate memory which has been already allocated with new(). A test program could be
