There is a folder of redistrib files on your system. I forget now where it is at but probably what you need to do is update those as the ones there by default are pretty far out of date.

It is not even an annoyance, You just pull up the properties and click the little run as admin box so then it will always run as admin and if you don't like that little UAC pop up you can get rid of...

MS DOS? Really? MS-DOS can't even be installed on most computers now, no floppy drives, large HDD to much ram, other hardware not supported by dos.

Can't picture what you are trying to do.
You can get the data from both tables at the same time using a join statement but it is not clear if that would suit your needs or not.
