  1. Re: Noob needs easy help with command line interface

Go under the project properties and look at the debugging settings. You can specify command line arguments in there.

This does seem like a VC question. Not sure why the thread was moved.
  2. Re: Noob needs easy help with command line interface

You need to use Visual Studio to create, build, run and debug a project. You'll do that through the Visual Studio GUI, not a command line. That's really something you should know how to do before...
  3. Re: 7 linking errors (LNK2001) compiling (release) emule with vs 2008

There's no other way to put it. The linker can't find the implementation of those function. You have the source code, so only you can determine if they exist and why the linker can't find them.
  4. Re: 7 linking errors (LNK2001) compiling (release) emule with vs 2008

The function UpdateSearchGraph, and others that it lists has been defined most likely in a header file and possibly used in a .cpp file, but the linker can't find the implementation of that function....
  5. Re: 7 linking errors (LNK2001) compiling (release) emule with vs 2008

Looks like the file that implements CKademliaWnd isn't included in your build. If you look in your .cpp files can you find an implementation of CKademliaWnd::UpdateSearchGraph?

    Re: Run in another program

Are you trying to write a key logger?
  7. Re: Please help a newbie on CPP High Frequency Trading Example

You may want to look up the difference between & and && too.

    Re: Newbie needs help

If you're using .Net you need to ask in the managed C++ forum. You'll get a much better response if you use code tags to maintain formatting.

    Re: Loops and Vectors

You need two variables, one to hold the max value, the other to hold the min value.
Set them each to the first element in the vector.
Iterate the vector replacing the values in the variables when...

Re: interphace graphique en C/c++ bloodshed dev c++

What does that have to do with your original post? You really need to clarify, hopefully with more than one sentence, what it is you're really trying to do.

    Re: A custom pyramid-drawing program

About what? I'm guessing you're stumped because you're thinking about code, not the algorithm. Figure out in English, without even thinking about code, what exactly the logic is for drawing the...
  12. Re: How Do I Still Use Document/View Architecture for This Application?

Sounds like you need to step through the MFC code and get a better understanding of how it all works.
  13. Re: How Do I Still Use Document/View Architecture for This Application?

It would probably make more sense to change your project properties to use MBCS instead of Unicode.
  14. Re: How Do I Still Use Document/View Architecture for This Application?

CArchive has a ReadString function that reads lines of text. Looks like it's designed to do what you want. Instead of using the >> operators, just use ReadString.

    Re: maximum cmd line length

Do you have anything to contribute other than bumping old threads to spam this tool of yours?
  16. Re: How to use CEdit Control variable updated from a tab to the dialog box ?

Don't know how I missed that. I looked for it several times.
  17. Re: How to use CEdit Control variable updated from a tab to the dialog box ?

Stepping over array boundaries is a big problem that will make a program do all kinds of weird things. I can't stress enough how important it is that you realize that that is a problem that needs to...
  18. Re: How to use CEdit Control variable updated from a tab to the dialog box ?

Your use of subscripts is still troubling me. If GainF and ExTimeF are defined with a size of 10, I would expect ModeCustom to crash.

Just putting UpdateData(TRUE) at the start of that function...
  19. Re: How to use CEdit Control variable updated from a tab to the dialog box ?

I don't see you calling UpdateData in CTab4. And again, the arguments to UpdateData are TRUE and FALSE, not true and false, and again, I'm not sure why you're calling it in the loop.
  20. Re: How to use CEdit Control variable updated from a tab to the dialog box ?

Post your current code, but please change those indexes. That behavior is undefined, and that's really the first thing you need to fix.
  21. Re: How to use CEdit Control variable updated from a tab to the dialog box ?

If it appears to be working with those indexes, it's sheer dumb luck. That code is incorrect and will cause you problems.

As to your question, you'd need to call UpdateData (which takes a BOOL,...
  22. Re: How to use CEdit Control variable updated from a tab to the dialog box ?

I'm not really sure what your question is, but arrays are 0 based. If you have an array of length 2, valid index values are 0 and 1.

    Re: Question and Answers Program

    Do you have a question?

If you want help with code, you'll need to use code tags and proper formatting.
  24. Re: How to configurate the Visual Studio C/C++ Additional Include Headers?

    The word is "configure".

    In VC2012 it's

    Project
    Properties
    Configuration Properties
    C/C++
    Additional Include Directories
  25. Re: C++ Help Why wont it print anything (functions)

You still have the other problems I mentioned.

You're prompting for a number in main and not using it, and a while loop is the loop to use here. This isn't a case for a for loop.
