No, wrong method.
You don't need at all to load the jpg (and you don't need GDI+ for JPG)
Just print it directly with COM.

Avoid MFC.
It's dead.
No more job in MFC for years in Europe... (and old jobs in <2000 were paid like cleaning ladies...)
