Re: Selection in listbox or combobox

So they are NOT the item indexes of lisbox/combobox?
Then why do you use them as lisbox/combobox item indexes?

PS: please, read MSDN to learn how to work with a listbox and a combobox.

Re: How to set bold text?

You create a new (bold) font using CreateFont or CreateFontIndirect or some other Font functions
and then send the WM_SETFONT message to the control.

Re: Selection in listbox or combobox

You would better first explain what your main goal is. Why do you play with a third party code? Do you have some descriptions/comments about this code?

Re: Selection in listbox or combobox

    Define "sorted by IDs".
Are those IDs stored somewhere (for instance in control item data)?

    Re: On click tab event

I have no idea because you supplied neither the info about "insertion failure" nor from where your function for "insertion" was called.
I only can recommend you to read MSDN "Adding and Removing...

    Re: On click tab event

You don't need to save the removed pages handles.Just because the page is destroyed after it has been removed.
Instead you will need to create a page again before adding it to the property sheet.

Re: A question regarding protected member

AFAIK, there is no such a requirement in C++. One can overload any method and also change the class access modifiers.

    Re: std::vector with negative subscript?

Well, you could use a plain C array instead.
Or implement the additional vector to recalculate the main vector indexes.

    Re: printer spool app

I never wrote you can't. I never did it myself so I don't know.
I just suggested you to learn the Print Spooler API Functions to understand (or, at least, try to understand) whether you could or not.

Re: MFC PrintWindow() only works sometimes

I guess you should call PrintWindow from within OnPaint handler.
