  1. Re: Changing tab order of buttons of Cpropertysheet

    How did you change the order? It should follow the sequence you use when you call AddPage
  2. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    I would assume you want to use your custom code for the tab control and the base class implementation for everything else, including the buttons.
  3. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    Did you try the code I posted a few posts back?
  4. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    Google it. Did you try the code?
  5. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    I created an app from scratch and experienced the same results as the OP. Not sure why modifying an existing app worked. Anyway, here is code in my new app that works.

    In OnInitDialog in your...
  6. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    Did UpdateData get called?
    Did m_ok have a valid m_hWnd after the call?
    Did you step into the DDX call to see why it was failing if it was?
    Did m_ok have a valid m_hWnd after UpdateData and when...

    Re: Changing background color of CButton

    I showed you how to do it with CMFCButton. There was obviously something simple wrong with your code and suggested you use the debugger to figure out what. Did you?
  8. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    I'm saying time to do some stepping to figure out what's happening
  9. Re: Coloring header row of CListCtrl C++

    Code tags and formatting please. That mess is unreadable.
  10. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    If this is really your code

    BOOL MyPropertysheet:: OnInitDialog()
    {
    BOOL bResult = CPropertySheet:: OnInitDialog();
    UpdateData(FALSE);

    m_ok.SetFaceColor(RGB(255,102,0);

    Re: CProgressCtrl problem

    You could try adding DOF_m_fault_progress.UpdateWindow() to force it to update immediately.
  12. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    IDOK is right and worked for me. I asked the OP to check if m_ok had a valid m_hWnd. No response to that one yet.
  13. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    Code tags
    What is CMFCBUTTON?
    Use the debugger to see if m_ok has a valid m_hWnd.
  14. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    Same question that has been asked. Keeping in mind that C++ is a case sensitive language, what is CMFCBUTTON?
  15. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    I said REAL code. Also, use CODE tags, not QUOTE. We're trying here, but if you're going to keep posting nonsense, there's not much point.
  16. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    Post your latest REAL code
  17. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    Worked for me. This is the code in my CPropertySheet derived class.

    BOOL bResult = CPropertySheet::OnInitDialog();
    UpdateData(FALSE);
    m_OK.SetFaceColor(RGB(255, 0, 0));

    and

    Re: Urgent: DLL

    Why does it matter who writes the header files? Just implement the function bodies in a DLL.
  19. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    I can see the attachment, but that's not exactly what the OP is trying to do. He has a CPropertySheet which has the OK button on it and he's trying to change its face color. I've duplicated what I...
  20. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    You've been asked several times to post real code. Not sure why you'd retype a bunch of invalid code rather than copy and paste the real thing.
  21. Re: Changing background Color of standard buttons (ok,cancel,help) of Cpropertysheet

    There's an MFC class CMFCButton. Is that what you're using or did you create your own CMFCBUTTON class?
  22. Re: How to disable/grayed-out the 'X' close button in dialog?

    You need a message pump. Here's a simple one. Add this in your processing code.

    MSG msg;
    while(PeekMessage(&msg, GetSafeHwnd(), 0, 0, PM_REMOVE))
    DispatchMessage(&msg);
  23. Re: How to disable/grayed-out the 'X' close button in dialog?

    Is your processing in a thread, or just functions inside the dialog?

    Disabling the close button isn't very user friendly. It would be better to interrupt your processing when the close button is...
  24. Re: My program works good but there are two things I don't understand yet

    The code in your first posts outputs leading zeroes for me.

    Re: Counting physical lines in text control

    It's only a few lines of code. What's the problem?
