    the issue with LCD monitors is not all the settings have a proper definition(nice and clear).
    even monitor support few res settings not all is fine.
    about, how change resolution? NO, you don't....

    usual each from us design app, forms, controls for our purpose,
    of course in our pc with our screen resolution (the best is possible)
    when we try to install app in other pc we have 3 possibilities...

    but i try diferent syntax for SendMessage function, like:
    SendMessage CLng(&HC0500), WM_SETTEXT, 0&, gSTRING
    or like a simple test
