How do I specify a DLL path

I have downloaded a DLL and a example program that comes with it. The problem is that at runtime, the executable does not find the .dll file unless I move the executable in the same folder than the dll. Then it works.

If I do the opposite and copy the .dll file into the executable's folder, then the .dll file is found but I get a message saying that the .dll cannot start because a Library (SPLib) was not found.

I have specified the path in the projet->settings->link->input-> additional lib box, in the tools->options->library Files

What else should I do ? Maybe add it in the system's path also ? I do not know how to do it.

    Any suggestion ?

You can try use regsvr32 /i to register your Dll. may be this can help you.

    Good luck.
