    Windows Explorer/FileSystemObject

    Hi All,

Does anyone have an example of creating a windows explorer type form. I would like to navigate my computer/network from within a standard form without showing a separate dialog like using CommonDialog ShowOpen, ShowSave etc.

A good example of the sort of thing I am after would be the save project dialog from within VB IDE.

I know that articles have been written on this but I have been unable to find them.

    Thanks in advance,

    Paul Gibbs

The simplest way is to incorporate 3 basic controls in VB, DriveList, DirList and FileList.

Hmmm ... then you can use regular controls (COMBOBOX, LISTVIEW, IMAGEBOX) in conjunction with Windows API to iterate and display the directory contents.
