Installing and package wizard
Hi there!
I've been greatly helped for some of you guys before and now I'n asking more.... So if anyone could help me to do installation package, I've got a problem (Again)!
Here is the problem:
Packaging my program went fine. No errors, no problems. Then I try to install this package on my drive... And here starts the problem:
Installing program notes me every time and brings this error on the screen;
"C:\Win\setup.lst
Invalid line in setup information file!
Section setup1 files
@MDAC_TYP.exe, $(App.Path),,,6.26.98 12:00:00 AM, 8124720,4.71.1015.0"
It doesn't affect if I put this file to another category, so that it copies MDAC_TYP.EXE straight in to the program directory. After a changing this file another place, installion takes next line inside the setup and tells the same message. Does anyone has a solution for this?
I already update this file MDAC_TYP.exe, so thats not the solution..
Especially thanks to Two Dogs, which helped me before! You are a really guru!

Iouri suggestment
'********************
Note:
Reading your question a second time, I understand I missed
the main point, which is: not a Mdac error, but a Pwd one.
The first suggestment - servicepack - could really help. But
if that does not, I really do not know how to handle, unless it
comes out you (or someone else) manually changed the
Setup.vbp and recompile it....
'********************
If you did not, install servicepak 5 for Vb (it will correct some Pwd matters); if you install servicepak, do not forget to reinstall Mdac.
But most of all, read carefully this Iouri answer:
