    unknown identifier: DWORD !?!?!

    can someone tell me when DWORD is a known identifier. I couldn't make out where DWORD is defined. For me it looks like sometimes it is other it is not defined with no apparent reason.

    right now in a win 32 console application the DWORD is not known...
    Is it part of a namespace? any includes i have to use??
    any ideas??

    thanks for now!

    <windows.h>

    in windows DWORD is definded in windef.h (as unsigned long).

    if You write a win32-app just include <windows.h> (it includes windef.h and other important headers).

    hoffe das hilft weiter,
