Xeon, I'm not sure at all, but I think you need to open a command window, get into the directory were you placed the .exe file and call it.

Yes, I know....but really, I've tried this method but it seems to fail. I mean, the darn thing keeps giving 'Bad command or filename' when the file name is really valid.
Is the file in the correct directory?

Can't you just go to the folder where MyProgram.exe is located and type MyProgram there?

So, I just directly type something like :
C:\Windows>C:\Program Files\My New Folder\My File.exe
But it gave me a 'bad command or filename'! Drats!
Crazy Xeon, your path contains "wait spaces" - ' ' , so u must write "C:\Program Files\My New Folder\My File.exe"
in ""
because otherwise it thinks that your filename is -C:\Program

I think it's the naming convention. remember that DOS uses only 8.3 name format. You have to find out what the DOS equivalent of your file (e.g.. something like "c:\progra~1\mynewf~1\myfile.exe")

Why doesn't works just double clicking on it?
Supposing you have XP...
if it is an .exe did you tried to change the compatibility mode (right click->properties->compatibility)?
Or if it is a .com did you tried to change the memory settings to "automatic" (right click->properties->memory)?

Thanks a lot, AIO, Dimm_Coder, Simon666 and Doctor Luz!
Well, I've tried Dimm_Coder's solution and it's better now, but instead of giving me a 'bad command or file name' message, it says the file is too big to fit into memory.
I've 512 MB of SDRAM and such, but this??!! It's only a 13 MB game that I downloaded from the Net....so, it's can't take up all 512 MB of physical RAM and all the virtual memory at one shot!
So, maybe DOS can't run big programs bigget than 64 KB in file size? Thanks a lot!
