    Unhappy ActiveX controls to DLLs

    Hi Guys

I have a humble problem here.
Today for the first time I tried my hands at Inet control, and created a simple FTP application using it - it worked great.
Then I thought it would be nicer if I could have this as some sort of a dll, the object of which can be created in any Visual Basic application (the way we have FileSytemObject at our disposal), and Bingo have FTP features in it !!
In this pursuit I did locate a dll named Microsoft Internet Control (not sure if it the right pick though) using Project -> References , but couldn't figure out how to use it.

So, gurus, this brings me here looking forward for you directions

    Thanks

    Suhaib

If you are looking for the interface of the dll just take a look into the objectbrowser in the Menu View/ObjectBrowser. There you are able to select the dll and you could see each class of the dll with all its properties and methods.

Music, music and VB. VB is like music: You never know how it is interpreted.

    Thanks Ungi

Now I atleast know where to look for the methods and properties of the dll.
By the way Guys, does Microsoft provide any dll for FTP ? (may be it does , but I am not aware of )

    Thanks

    Suhaib
