Immortal application
Hi,
At first, don't misunderstand that I am going to write a virus.
I have a Client/Server application for monitoring the client.
I like to make my client application immortal, so that no client user can't kill the application.( I want to work my client in Win 98/NT/2000/me & XP ).
There are so many ideas infront of me, but I can't select one( because of less knowledge in the advantage/disadvantage of them).
1. Create my application as a service.( But a user can stop/disable the service )
2. Hide it from task manager list( But XP not supporting it ).
3. Insert my process into another processes like explorer.exe
Which one is best or any other idea.... pls help...
