"Backspace" key is not working in EditBox within ActiveX

hi all,
"Backspace" key is not working in an Edit control
created as a child of an ActiveX control. The edit
control has the focus and all other keys such as Arrow
keys, delete keys are working. But the backspace key is
not working at all. If anybody knows plz reply.

This is sometimes a problem because the thread where the message pump is initialized COM by calling CoInitialize() instead of OleInitialize(). Try OleInitialize()...

Thanks for ur reply. But actually i'm using that ActiveX control within an IE. Can u plz. explain.
