    Question Reading EventLog using Vb6

    i would like to get some help regarding reading eventlog , including information from the "description" box of the events

    This might help you

    Once I found something on the net. Cannot tell where (you could search via google to find out), but I adapted the code for something I need in those time.
    You could take this code and adjust it for your purpouse:

    ...at present time, using mainly Net 4.0, Vs 2010

    Unhappy that was easy, but...

    .... what to do when You need to get REAL message. It is necessery to use FormatMessage within an external DLL.

    Call API LoadLibraryEx(dll_path, 0, LOAD_LIBRARY_AS_DATAFILE)
    Call API FormatMessage(FORMAT_MESSAGE_FROM_HMODULE, ... , Arguments)

    And there is a problem: HOW TO PASS Arguments ARGUMENT IN VB CODE????
