How to fix Windows Boot
I realize that, strictly speaking, this is the wrong forum for my question but, my experience is that it is the only place that I can get answers.
Something has gone awry with my boot sequence (Win95). It halts with msg:
"IDE/ATAPI CD-ROM Device driver Version 2.11 17:30:39 06/07/96
CD-ROM drive #0 found on 170h prot slave device, V17B"
Then I locate a 3.5 floppy labeled Windows Startup and do a boot from drive A.
This gives me:
"Error reading C:\WINEBD0.400\EBD\SCANDISK.EXE"
However when I do manage to boot via SAFE mode I can do a complete diskscan and find no problems whatever. ??
Additionally I don't understand the Error msg. since Drive C has no such path\file ??
Any ideas? or where I can find the file that was not able to be read?
