this freakin' language that is spoken in this country... aehem ... finnland ... yes, yes ...

and this does not look like german

so here is the german translation:

    Einmal frühmorgens vor Sonnenaufgang
    Bevor der Vögel Lied erklang
Machte die Bergtrollin dem Ritter einen Antrag
    Sie sprach mit gespaltener Zunge
Ritter Mannelig, Ritter Mannelig bitte heirate mich

Ritter Mannelig, Ritter Mannelig bitte heirate mich
Denn ich kann Dir alles geben
Deine Antwort kann nur ja sein oder nein
    Wenn Du es so willst

    ok here it is:

    Omnia sol temperat
    Purus et subtilis
    Novo mundo reserat
    Faciem Aprilis
    Ad amorem properat
    Animus herilis
    Et iocundis imperat
    Deus puerilis

    Ama me fideliter
    Fidem meam nota
    De corde totaliter
    Et Ex mente tota

    Rerum tanta novitas
    In sollemni vere
    Et veris auctoritas
    lubet nos gaudere
    Vices prebet solitas
    Et in tuo vere
    Fides est et probitas
    Tuum retinere

    Ama me fideliter
    Fidem meam nota
    De corde totaliter
    Et Ex mente tota

    VOGON POETRY WARNING!
Some song parodies about the family dogs:

    (Stayin Alive)
Oh you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm the Good Boy Floyd, no time to talk.
If you see squirrels or your tail curls
you're a Good Boy Floyd with lots of girls.
    You know
it's time to wag and time to bark
and eat up supper like a shark
and chew a toy or sniff a bone
or eat a milkbone ice cream cone.
See Rosie shaking and Casey is baking
and we're runnin the fence, runnin the fence.
Ollie is markin and the boxers are barkin
and we're runnin the fence, runnin the fence.
    Bark - Bark - Bark - Bark
runnin the fence, runnin the fence
    Bark - Bark - Bark - Bark
    runnin the feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeence

    (bicycle built for two)
    Casey, Casey,
    give me your answer do.
    I'm half crazy
    trying to walk with you.
    You pull to the right
    and sniff a log
    you pull to the left
    and poke a frog.
    Don't you look sweet
    so here's a treat,
    for being the perfect dog.

    (man on the flying trapeze)
    Casey would bark
    at the neighborhood cats
    but the cat got away.
    She'd bark at the door,
then she'd tear cross the floor
    but the cat got away.
    Her tail was a quiver
    then she'd start to shiver,
her fur stood up straight on her spine.
    She'd pull and she'd weave
    like you wouldn't believe
    barking 'that kitty's MINE!'

    (wild thing)
    Wild Thing!
    You make my heart sing!
    You make everything soggy!
    Wild thing!
    Wild thing you're drooling,
and I want a towel for sure.
    Come on, gimme paw,
    you sniffed me!
Wild thing, I think you're chewing,
have you got a squeaker or a bone?
    Come on, gimme the ball,
    you buried it!
Wild thing! You make my heart sing!
    You make everything soggy!
    Wild thing!

    (we are the champions)
    We are the puppies
    We are the puppies
    no time for kitties
    cause we are the puppies
    of the park!

    Morning Poem

    I woke early one morning,
The earth lay cool and still
    When suddenly a tiny bird
    Perched on my window sill,
It sang a song so lovely
    So carefree and so gay,
    That slowly all my troubles
    Began to slip away.
It sang of far off places
    Of laughter and of fun,
    It seemed its very trilling,
    brought up the morning sun.
    I stirred beneath the covers
    Crept slowly out of bed,
    Then gently shut the window
    And crushed its ****ing head.

    The morale:
    I'm not a morning person.

    Society failed to tolerate me
And I have failed to tolerate society
Still I can't find what you adore
Inside I hear the echoes of an inner war
And nothing can take the horror from me
Your sick world, the loss of morality
My hate has grown as strong as my confusion
My only hope my only solution
    Is a Violent Revolution

I do not need a cause for my rage
I just despise the nature of the human race
When all I see is repulsion and hate
Violence becomes my only friend, my saving grace
When love is lost, beyound your control
A pale shadow of lust cannot enlite your soul
So keep your eyes on cold bitter illusion
I don't need your empty world
Because my only solution is Violent Revolution
Beauty is no more - Its all gone
    And utopia will not come

Wakeup in the morning and kick the day in the teeth!! Or something like that.

I like this piece of poetry :

    Sitting on a wall,
    All alone,
    Writing a poem,
    Was a programmer.
    Who couldn't rhyme.
Or write poetry which didn't start going on about overlapped operations.
    Or Threading.
    Or Subclassing.
    TheEnd.
