    Access db

    how many Tables can i have in an Access db? how many Tables can i have open at one time??

    interesting !!

    I looked into Acess XP help :
    [list=1][*]Number of open tables 2048; the actual number may be less because of tables opened internally by Microsoft Access[*]Microsoft Access database (.mdb) file size 2 gigabytes minus the space needed for system objects. [*]Number of objects in a database: 32,768 [*]Number of concurrent users: 255 [/list=1]

    but note that (Can work if .... <> will peform well if...)
    actually 10-15 connections to mdb are enough..
    if any member has experience with this .. please send and share the knowledge

    Yeah, wouldn't trust Access with many more than this...!!

    Records per table

    hehehe, The only thing I can add to this is anything more than 3 million records in single table and access starts falling over more often than a blind man in an obsticle course.
