    Hi!

    Ooo yeah! i did read it.
    but still feel ashamed :-)

    i need to admit, the documentation is very helpful if you know what you are looking for.
    But if you don't know exactly what you need then MSDN is sometimes useless for me.

    I just assumed that it needs to come from CB or CBS, not from the general like WS.
    thanks a lot for the WS_VSCROLL, will check it at home.

    Resource editor uses WS_VSCROLL as part of the default set of styles. I do not think there is a need for tinkering with it.

    Then yet again I recommend you to get to reading Petzold's Programming Windows. When you get through, then go to reading Jeff Richter's Programming Applications for MS Windows.
