    you have to run dumpbin.exe /exports yourdll.dll. see the difference?

    Yep i got it this time, it says cannot open input file brktddm.dll
    his is what my command line looks like

    C:\> "C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Visual Studio\ VC98\ Bin \DUMPBIN.exe" /exports brktddm.dll

    you have to provide the full path to your dll. just drag it into command promt and it will be dropped with the full path. i hope it's clear enough

    The exported functions are undecorted. extern "C" them.

    Thank you very much Mick and Alin, i really appreciate your patience in expalining me. I am not getting External Error any more but i am getting one more error. Please help me with this as i am a beginner to VC++.

    not recomended but try casting the int to (void*)

    int nTestInt = 4;
    void * pVoid;
    pVoid = (void*) &nTestInt; //I think this should compile (didn't try)
    and Canada rocks!! Peace bro.
