Side Column.
Just wondering, what is with the "Click Here to Expand Forum to Full Width" on the right side? What is this annoyance there? Are ADS just going to keep taking over CodeGuru?

If I am understanding correctly it's a "compromise" that the "powers-that-be" at Jupiter Media decided to allow. See they want ads (to bring in money) and we (the users*) don't. So, they said "Okay, tell you what... if you REALLY want to you can remove the ads by clicking the 'Click Here to Expand Forum to Full Width' hyper link... But we're gonna leave our ads there..."
I think that they are hoping we will soon tire of clicking on this hyperlink everytime a window opens.
*Although for how long I can not say....

okay sorry... i did not recognize, that these ads are a feature of the forum, nor that a extension for firefox is a hack, crack or bug exploit.
However, i undestand that you, Brad, are tired of these ad-column-discussion...
I'm not entirely worthless. I can be used as a bad example.
