My wife and I in Hawai'i last December (if you have to be somewhere in December, Hawai'i is not a bad choice!).

Well, are there any good slopes in hawaii? The snow is on it's way, and in a couple of weeks I'll strap the board to my feet and sing "Ahhhh..."

If you don't mind boarding down jagged lava rock...

I tried snowboarding once. I figured how different can it be from skateboarding? I alternated landing on my tailbone and face. After that lesson, I'll stick to snorkeling with tortoises!

Well, the waters around here holds about 10 degrees celcius, and that's just a bit too cold for me . But in a couple of months I'm heading for Sydney, Australia, and hopefully I'll spend a day or two both snorkeling and diving .

Ah, Sydney. Say hello to the Opera House and have a walk across the bridge for me.
