I'm back from my ski-trip to Zell Am Ziller in Austria. I never skied before so I was following some lessons with some friends. In the picture you see me on the training skiing field.
Yea great. I hope you had fun here in Austria.

Yes, the trip was great. Our hotel was a bit lower in the mountain and often cloudy, but when taking the elevator to the top of the mountain we were above the clouds and it was blue sky and sunny
After 4 days of lessons we already did some red skiing slopes
Great Marc, I see more and more people are learning skiing. But guess what, I met people from Norway and Sweden that don't ski, which I thought is impossible. Here is a picture of me in Klappen, Sweden, where I was for a team building with my Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Romanian colleagues.
Wow. Nice pictures. I haven't skied for about 10 years, but you never forget. I went to Steamboat Springs, Co as a kid, and did some advanced hills. Not sure I'd try them again, though.
nice pics, cilu and Maximus_X
Looks like there is a ski-craze now It's been 2 years since I ski-ed last... which means, I need lessons again
First of all thank you for your appreciation.
I agree with dglienna. Once you have started the ski, you'll not forget.
It's like you learn to drive the bicycle. It's hard to forget it.
So, next time, don't hesitate to start skiing!
Wonderful landscape and great shots. I mean you are not only an excellent developer, you are an photoartist too

Thank you. But I still need to learn much about photography.
Hmm. The landscape pics are all really great. IMHO we both know : To have persons on a photo is always a bit difficult as they most times looks very static there and this looks unnatural a bit. I cannot really express what I mean with this, people have a sort of 'I'm on a photo' face then and this looks like in schooltimes when we did a group photo: look straight on, smile -cheese <lol> you know what I mean. To have people on a picture during they are doing sports or somethin else, a snapshot as we say, is always much better and looks more natural. And to get people that they look like being in action during they are on a photo even when they aren't really busy, this is really very difficult. But as I told before your photos look great.

Agree. But for some reason, I have to relearn at least getting off the gondola part each time I take the lift. I invariably have a hard time finding the balance when I get off it. Embarassing at times, but, heh that's fun too

I think that it's depends on your last experience, how deep it was, too.
Probably, you need few time to adapt.
Few days ago, me and my girl friend have analyzed some video ski lessons.
When you want to try again the ski sensations, I strongly recommend to you, the watching of these lessons: http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...&search=Search
And see http://www.nuonsoft.com/blog/2008/01/26/new-car/ for some pics of my new car
Please note that these are not so great, since the car was already a bit dirty and wet. I will take some new pictures when I have cleaned it completely and when it’s sunny, somewhere in the summer probably....
