Well, the waters around here holds about 10 degrees celcius, and that's just a bit too cold for me . But in a couple of months I'm heading for Sydney, Australia, and hopefully I'll spend a day or two both snorkeling and diving .

Stop by and say g'day if you're going to be in Sydney
At the beginning of this week I was in Bucharest for some business, and here is me in front of the third largest building in the world, The Palace of Parliament.
BTW, "The Palace of Parlament" holds a distinction that is greater than that of being the World's Third Largest Building - it is the World's Heaviest Building...
Just came back from a month's vacation. This time around, I got to do some touring of India, apart from the routine visit-home-and-relatives thingy. Some of the snaps from the tour I took of the lovely, royal state Rajasthan.
On a camel safari in Sam Dunes in the heart of Thar desert, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India.
Inside a Jain temple in Ranakpur, Rajasthan, India.
In front of Sheesh Mahal ( palace of mirrors ) within the palace in Amer fort ( Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ).
A newly built marble structure used for replacing some of the ones broken during the various invasions on temples by Mughal rulers like Ghori, Khilji ( Osiyan, Rajasthan, India ).
Jain temple, wholly built with sandstone and marble ( Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India ).

The structure is in fact a tomb of the ministers of the erstwhile Jaisalmer emperors ( Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India ).
Inside Patwon Ki Haveli. It is a five-storeyed building, full with intricate carvings on sandstone. This is no royal place. Just one of the kinds of houses the rich could afford to live in Apparently, the whole structure is made of panels which can be taken apart and re-assembled again, if needed ( Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India ).
Inside another haveli, with a difference though. In this, the whole place is filled with paintings ( walls, ceilings , pillars etc ) instead of carvings ( Nawalgarh, Rajasthan, India ).
