You're correct. I've been here for 5 years now.

Unfortunately, there's no option/privilege like that for contract workers here. In order to be a citizen of this place, you'd have to marry someone from here. Which I have no intention of doing.
To be honest, I never thought I'd stay here that long. As for how long I plan to stay here... I don't know. It all depends on the circumstances. Maybe I'll get tired and try a different place to work at. But I've grown to love this island, and I really like my job right now too. My employer is good to me... I get the chance to frequent CG whenever I like! Where can you find an employer like that?

Marrying someone to get citinzenship it's such a silly idea. But I've heard enough cases of people doing that.

March - June is the summer time in the Philippines, the weather is hot but the sea is cold, its so nice to just soak in the clear blue water, and walk in the powdery sand beaches , eat halo-halo or ride a small boat and just go to the nearest island and explore..
and Northern Marianas is not part of the philippines
I read ideru's post that's why I asked what's a halo-halo I'm a food addict so everytime I see something related to eating that I haven't heard about, I'm interested
