    Sybase iAnywhere technologies to extend product support for Palm's future line of Windows Mobile-based Treo(tm) smartphones.

    CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & ENTERTAINMENT 2005, SAN FRANCISCO, CA and 3GSM WORLD CONGRESS ASIA, SINGAPORE, September 27, 2005 - Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, and its iAnywhere subsidiary today announced plans to support Palm, Inc.'s future line of Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Treo(tm) smartphones, the first of which is scheduled to be available to Verizon Wireless customers in early 2006. Windows Mobile devices such as the upcoming line of Treo smartphones, combined with Sybase iAnywhere mobile technology, enable companies to effectively manage and move critical data and content from the data center out to the front lines of business and back.(1)
