    unloading form

    hello,

    when i unload a form i use
    Code:
    private sub cmdExit_click()
    unload me
    end sub
    but a few days/weeks ago, i found a project of wizbang and he uses this
    Code:
    private sub cmdExit_click()
    unload me
    end
    end sub
    what is the difference, when to use end?

    Either wizbang made a typo or there was a problem with the app was not ending properly..

    But using End is not realy advisable.. This forces the App to close with out running any of the Form_Unload events, The activeX components will not run the Class_Terminate events. This is efectivley like Pulling the plug on a pc while it is running. Killing all the events without shuting them down..

    There been a bit of discution on this lately...

    a Quick CG search should find it...
