Anyone here recognizes this 'unknown' member? He is an MVP too!

Yes, that is true. But Rob was most likely awarded for the activity on www.vbforums.com, and not for CodeGuru.

Hello cilu! You are correct but I do manage to break out of my addiction to VBF and help out a bit here too from time to time.

Problem for me is that CG is predominantly C and the volume of threads that are VB is low. I am a VB/VB.NET programmer.

cilu, your Rep level is impressive! Whenever I have any C related questions I'll know where to post them.

I would rather say it's predominant C++. After all C and C++ are not the same ball game.

Thank you. So is your post count at VBF. And I feel the viceversa about VB.

BTW Rob, how come you found this thread? I don't know how people do it, but whenever their name appears in a thread in a forum they seldom visit, here they are too.

Won't you post it in VB Forums on CG?

    Re: CodeGuru MVP's for 2006

I oversee both VBForums and Codeguru, so you shouldn't be surprised to see a little cross over .

We had a couple of new MVPs and several renewals on both sites this time, which is great. We have a couple of renewals for MVP awards coming up in April. Hopefully that will happen as well. (I'd be shocked if it didn't since the renewals are for some of the strongest candidates).

cilu, I was being general about C seeing that there are several different variations like you pointed out.

I found the thread from another member pointing it out and is like me, a member at both sites.
